Shipping and handling
We ship orders as soon as possible after the order is paid for with one of the credit cards we accept. Orders are usually shipped within two business days of payment, but in some cases it may take longer, for example during night frosts when we do not ship plants.
All shipments are sent with GLS ParcelShop to the nearest GLS Parcel Post pick-up point - not to the door. If you want shipment to your door, please write to us after ordering.
Current shipping rates as of July 2025 are:
Shipping is free for orders of 1000Kr. or more to Denmark. Shipments under 1000 DKK cost 40 DKK for shipments to Denmark.
All orders picked up at our address in Copenhagen will not be charged a shipping fee.
Shipping to EU countries costs 200Kr. for orders under 1000Kr. 150Kr. for orders between 1000-2000Kr. and 0Kr. for orders over 2000Kr.
We do not ship to countries outside the EU due to the very different phytosanitary certificate requirements that exist for different countries.
Shipping to EU countries costs 200DKK for orders up to 1000DKK, 150DKK for orders between 1000-2000DKK, 0DKK for orders above 2000DKK.
We do not ship plants to countries outside the EU. If you wish to buy ceramics from countries outside the EU, send us an email.
- All plants are shipped bare root without soil or pot
- We do not ship if the local night temperature forecast is too low - different for different plants.
- All customers has the right of returning the order within 2 weeks. The cost of returning orders is carried by the customer.
Shipping in winter
We only ship plants when it is safe for the plants' well-being. All plants have different cold tolerance, and if you are unsure about the cold hardiness of an individual plant, please send us an email before you buy.
If you buy plants that cannot withstand the temperatures at the time, we will automatically ship them when the temperature is again above the acceptable minimum. We will inform you when we think the plants can be shipped.
Substrates and Pots can of course be shipped all year round.
Shipping during winter
If you buy plants during colder periods, we will automatically send them when temperatures are above the specific plants' hardyness level.
Payment methods
We accept Visa, Master card, Visa Dankort and Maestro. There are different fees for using the different payment methods, which are paid by caudiciform.com and are not added to the price.
The price you see on the payment page is the full amount deducted from your payment card.
The money is deducted from the customer's payment card when ordering.
Cancellation and complaints
We pack the shipments securely. In the unlikely event that the products are damaged in transit, please return the damaged goods, either the entire package for a full refund or the damaged part. The cost of returning goods is not refundable, but is at the buyer's own expense.
Under Danish law, you always have a 14-day right of withdrawal on your purchases with us. If the goods have been used, it is assessed whether they have lost value. If you regret your purchase, write to us and we will refund the amount upon receipt of the returned goods. The goods must be returned in the same condition in which you received them. You choose whether you want to return physically or with shipping.
You have 14 days to return the goods to caudiciform.com after you notify us that you wish to return them. As these are live plants, you must take proper care of them until they are returned and ensure safe shipping.
All caudiciform plants can withstand being packed down for 3-4 days and not getting water or light during that period. We ship all plants without soil and pot.
As a buyer, you have a 2-year warranty on all goods other than plants if, contrary to expectations, they do not last beyond 2 years. Ordinary wear and tear cannot be claimed.
Measuring the ground
When buying substrates - plant soil, please note that we measure in Liters - not in Kilos. This means that the weight varies for different types of materials.
We measure in regular liters - and make sure to put a little too much in each unit. Remember that a liter is not a lot - it corresponds to 10x10x10cm. 1 liter roughly corresponds to what can fit in a smaller pot.

Plant passport
Caudiciform.com does not sell plants that are covered by the EU plant passport requirement. You can find an overview of which plant species (and materials) are subject to the plant passport requirement in Annex XIII (13) here
Cites
The UN maintains a list of endangered plant species that cannot be traded if they originate from their natural habitat. The list can be found here. Caudiciform.com does not sell plants from natural habitats at all, but only from our own production and nurseries.
Phytosanitary certificates
To import plants into the EU, or many other countries outside, the plant must have a phytosanitary certificate - also called a phytosanitary certificate. The exporter of the plant must be approved, and in some countries the importer must also be approved. Caudiciform.com does not issue phytosanitary certificates and we do not sell plants originating from countries outside the EU.
